WHAT
Students, we have a problem! Rethink the Box is a project that presents students with a box that contains a set of materials that they can use to solve an assigned problem. Like the problem in the movie Apollo 13, "we gotta find a way to make this, fit into the hole for this, using nothing but that."
WHY
Rethink the Box presents students of varying ages with a problem-based learning opportunity that will "help the students develop flexible knowledge, effective problem solving skills, self-directed learning, effective collaboration skills and intrinsic motivation."
